Master in Advanced Robotics Mechatronics and Automatic Control (Former Master GreeM)

This specialty covers a multidisciplinary training offer with a decompartmentalization of disciplines, an integrated approach to the design of mechatronic systems. This sector gives our students a profile of R&D engineers capable of understanding the complexity linked to the design of systems or microsystems and that of their control.<\/span><\/p>\n

The objective of this mention (international type) is that students can implement new methods of design, redesign, and calculation of control systems and this by taking into account the energy consumed or put into play, in addition to the expected performances, whatever the application field of the mechatronic systems activated (automotive, aerospace and aeronautics, medical, military, …).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nowadays, mechatronic systems can be found everywhere: in medical applications (medical robotics, dental machines), in vehicular applications (automatic gear, engines with electronics, automatic and driver-less vehicles), in production industry (industrial robotics, production lines), in aerospace (mobile robotics, robotic arms, actuated wings tillers), in precision systems (atomic force microscopes, hard disk driver, electronic-mechanical watches, microrobotics), in petroleum engineering (extraction machines, actuated networks of pipelines)…<\/span>
The master is also supported by the internationally renown research center FEMTO-ST (FEMTO-ST<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Curriculum<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The ARMAC master\u2019s program takes place over 2 academic years divided into 4 semesters. Each semester corresponds to an accreditation of 30 ECTS, which leads to a total at the end of 120 ECTS.   The program has an extensive international flavor, with all courses taught in English.  The teaching staff are highly qualified researchers with international recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n

Entry requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A degree equivalent to or higher than a Bachelor\u2019s degree (3 or 4 year Degree) with a background in \u201ccontrol systems\u201d (Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering). Courses waivers can be given depending on your former undergraduate program content.<\/p>\n

The applicant should have a level of English and a background on \u201ccontrol systems\u201d following the UMLP criteria. Additionally to these, the motivations and the professional project of the applicant are also examined carefully.<\/p>\n
