The production and storage of H2 are major challenges for high-tech industrial companies. In the ProdHyg programme, we are aiming for the production of decarbonised H2 and its safe storage, respectful of man and the environment. The H2 would be stored on the one hand from solid sources with a high H2 atom content and on the other hand produced by photolysis of water via ferroelectric materials. This research project aims to complement themes that are already very advanced in BFC with solid state chemical storage under sustainable conditions (recycling, catalysis, rare metal resources, optimisation of chemical systems, control of chemical safety and life cycles).
