2 professors from UBFC have been granted with a Senior Fellowship from the ISITE-BFC program for their high-risky research project and ambitious education program:

• John DUDLEY (FEMTO-ST), for the development of next generation coherent light sources based on extreme dissipative nonlinear dynamics to address urgent needs in science and engineering for tunable optical radiation over broad wavelength ranges.
• Guy MILLOT (ICB), for the development of an optical spectroscopy method able to perform a noninvasive and realtime detection of volatile organic compounds in the exhaled air of which excessive concentration can indicate serious diseases such as diabetes, Parkinson disease, peptic ulcers, and certain types of cancer
